Please note that in accordance to the Government Executive Committee’s directives, if the submitted work permit application is for an expatriate from outside the Kingdom of Bahrain, the LMRA will postpone processing of the application for 14 days, during which a classified advert for the vacancy will be published in local newspapers over a period of 7 days, mentioning the vacancy, company name, email, and telephone number as listed with the LMRA, to allow interested Bahrainis, and Expatriates residing in Bahrain, to apply for the job.

Advertising for each application will cost BD 30 and will be added to your monthly invoice.

If your preference is to advertise in a specific newspaper please submit an e-ticket with your request within one hour of application submission choosing one of the following: Alayam, Akhbar Alkhaleej, Alwatan, Albilad, Gulf Daily News, Bahrain Tribune

أعزاءنا العملاء،،

نفيدكم علمًا بأنه وفقًا للإرشادات الصادرة عن وزارة الصحة بوجوب خضوع جميع المسافرين القادمين إلى مملكة البحرين بدءًا من الساعة 12 صباحاً من يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 21 يوليو 2020 للفحص المخبري لفيروس كورونا عند وصولهم المملكة، سيكون على صاحب العمل تحمل تكلفة إجراء الفحص المخبري الخاص بفيروس كورونا (كوفيد - 19) للعامل القادم إلى مملكة البحرين والبالغ قيمته 30 دينارًا بحرينياً، ويمكن لصاحب العمل دفع تكلفة الفحص عبر تطبيق "مجتمع واعي" أو يدفعها المسافر من خلال المنصات الموجودة في المطار والتي تتيح الدفع نقدًا وإلكترونيًا بواسطة البطاقات البنكية والائتمانية*.

كما سيتحمل صاحب العمل تكلفة إجراء فحص انتهاء الحجر الصحي للعامل البالغة 30 دينارًا بحرينيًا كذلك.

علماً بأن وزارة الصحة تهيب بجميع أصحاب العمل ‫بضرورة الاتصال على 444 في حال شعور العامل بأعراض الفيروس واتباع التعليمات التي سوف تعطى لهم.

Dear clients,

In line with the directives issued by the Ministry of Health, all incoming passengers to the Kingdom of Bahrain from 12:00 am on Tuesday, 21 July 2020, should undergo medical testing for the coronavirus (COVID-19) upon their arrival in the Kingdom. Employers will have to shoulder the cost of the COVID-19 laboratory test, which will cost BHD 30.

Payments should be made via the “BeAware Bahrain” application or by the passenger through the payment platforms available at Bahrain International Airport in cash or electronically.

The employer will also shoulder the cost of conducting the end of self-isolation Exit Swab, which costs an additional BHD 30. 

The Ministry of Health stresses the importance for all employers to contact the hotline no. 444 in the event that an employee experiences the symptoms related to the COVID-19 and follow the instructions that will be given to them.

يرجى العلم بأنه تم إيقاف الخاصية الإلكترونية للتقدم بطلب انتقال من صاحب إلى صاحب عمل آخر قبل انتهاء تصريح العمل الحالي وذلك نظراً لوجود عدة فئات من الرسوم، وعليه سيتم الاستمرار بعملية الانتقال عن طريق خاصية إلغاء تصريح العمل الحالي ومن ثم التقدم بطلب تصريح عمل جديد وذلك بعد قيام صاحب العمل الجديد بتعويض صاحب الحالي عن الرسم المسدد مقدما عن المدة المتبقية من التصريح، وعليه يجب رفع تذكرة إلكترونية من خلال نظام الدعم الإلكتروني للعملاء لإخباركم بالمبلغ المستحق والذي يجب دفعه مباشرة إلى صاحب العمل الحالي. علما بأن هذا الإجراء هو إجراء مؤقت للفترة من 1 يوليو 2020 ولغاية 30 سبتمبر 2020. وفي حال عدم وجود اتفاق يؤدي إلى تعطيل قرار رقم (79) لسنة 2009 بشأن إجراءات انتقال العامل الأجنبي إلى صاحب عمل آخر، يرجى ابلاغ إدارة خدمات العملاء بهيئة تنظيم سوق العمل او عن طريق رفع تذكرة إلكترونية من خلال نظام الدعم الإلكتروني. كما نود أن نبين بأن خاصية الانتقال من فرع إلى فرع آخر لنفس القيد التجاري سيكون متاح عبر زيارة هيئة تنظيم سوق العمل بعد أخذ موعد مسبق او عن طريق رفع تذكرة إلكترونية من خلال نظام الدعم الإلكتروني.

Please be inform that LMRA has suspended transferring expat from the current employer to new employer before work permit expiry transactions due to having more than one payment category. Therefore, to transfer the expat, the current employer should apply permit cancellation process which will allow the new employer to apply new work permit.
The new employer shall directly compensate the first employer for the remaining fee which corresponds with the remaining validity of the work permit.
Kindly submit an E-ticket through E-Support system to receive a calculation of the amount due to the new employer to be paid to the current employer, this process is temporary and is only for the period from 1-7-2020 to 30-9-2020. Please inform LMRA client service department or submit an E-ticket through E-Support system for any disagreement which will prevent applying Cabinet’s decision No.(79) 2009 regarding transferring expat to new employer.
Please note that transferring expat to another branch with the same base CR process is allowed by booking appointment to visit LMRA or by submit an E-ticket through E-Support system.
