Where does the data you have used come from? Is it reliable?

The data underlying the recommendations are a result of an extensive process of review and corrections. The data have been scrutinized by the relevant ministries and government officials, who have agreed that these are the best available numbers for the analyses. Often, where data has been known to be incomplete or systematically flawed, adjustments have been made to improve accuracy. Therefore, the team is confident that this data is the best available given the time and resources available; moreover, the team believes that the key findings and policy implications are robust even in the face of a reasonable margin of error in the data.
Of course, the data can and must be better in the future. That is why an extensive re-design of the processes and IT systems underlying the labour market administration is being proposed. In the future, the data will be increasingly dependable so that future policy and business decisions can be made without recourse to the elaborate review process required in this effort.
